Effective 9/2/2026, Teller County is in a Stage I Fire Ban which restricts Open Burning in Teller County, CO.   No open burning of materials not contained in an outdoor fireplace or permanent fire ring. No explosives, fireworks, or model rocketsare  allowed in a Stage 1 Fire Ban.
